Question... i jus got a GRE manifold for my HIF44 but there is a problem... there is no where to put a bracket to hold the accelerator cable in place? does anyone have pic of one with a bracket? or do i even need the bracket? thanks |

I have a GR manifold and the cables go through a bracket that sits between the carby and the manifold. see pic. Nothing is attached to the manifold. ![]() Cheers |

You also need a HIF style accelerator cable - I am sure others can be made to fit but the HIF one is just sooo easy. It has a nylon end piece molded into which clips onto the throttle sandwhich bracket. The HIF throttle cable is normally yellow as in the previous photo |

use the standard Mini bracket, just as Simple Simon has done. Then you can use the same choke and accelerator cable. Simple really ![]() |
