Hi.

I'm just saying hello and posting a link to my clubman restoration project (which I am calling pimpmymini but I'm keeping things semi sane)

This is my first full car restoral though I do help at the semi-local motor museum, and have helped bring a subaru 360 back to life. (thats my dad in the picture)

a honda 800

and a BP1 (which was used as an ambulance in ww1)

though, those projects where more about getting it running again than doing a full restore.

Cheers Chris Welcome..yet another Sandgroper That Subaru looks like a cross between a VW beetle and a Fiat 500 and the Honda is an S800 (there was an S600 also)....lovelly machines that unfortunately wound up their axles (chain drive)

There was also the S360 with a 360cc 4 cyl motor with....wait for it....TWIN CHOKE Carbies!!! Again the US killed another car. Its ok for a yank to putt about in his 8 litre petrol chewer yet a 800cc motorcycle engine is arsed for "emissions"... Hooroo Rob Forsyth Miniot!!

Roberto....the Honda Zot with the 1100cc conversion that visited us was formerly an N360....360cc all iron twin cylinder air cooled...followed by a 600cc twin. Crazy little machines with the gearchange poking out of the dash. The outstanding thing is that the 1100cc conversion (ex-Civic) that John is still driving (now Monaro Orange ) weighs about the same as the bike engine.
