Just read on the Vintage tyres website in the UK that they are now selling the Dunlop aquajet 145-10 For 55 pounds. As soon as Brad gets them into OZ looks like I'll finally have a new set of tyres. ( haven't bought a set of tyres since 1993 for the Mini) they are absolutley stuffed, So I can't wait |

Don't really know why anyone would want a set, even in the 70s they were no where as good as the Bridgestones and were terrible in the wet on a mini, they worked fine on 2 tons Jags but didnt on Mini's |

people like them now for originality. I agree, they were crap for roadholding back then. ![]() Now 850s are back in vogue for resto I guess there'll be a demand for 5.20x10 Dunlop RS4s, or Olympic Air Rides, or Goodyear G8s... ![]() |

They're also available in 165 width as well. Nope, I won't be getting all moist. Maybe were replaced for a reason. Might look good on concours cars though. Probably quieter than my current tyres on the road as well. |

I know I have asked this before but..... When did the Aquajet first get fitted to the Australian Cooper S? (and don't say they all had them because they didn't start making Aquajets till 67.) What was fitted before the Aquajet? When was the changeover point? |

When was the changeover point? Dunno, but my memory says they had SP41's before Aquasquirts. Whatever it was ti was better than Aquasquirts, even G800's were better and they weren't much chop either. |
