G'day everyone, Sorry if this sounds like a silly question. But are all ignition leads interchangeable? I have a Nissan pulsar dizzy but i am still using my old leads cause the nissan ones are dodgy. When I buy a new set do I buy mini leads or nissan leads? Thanks |

Well i have fitted Mini ones. They were made by Queensland Ignition Leads and are the Sprial type. You will be able to fit the mini ones. They will look neater as they will be a lot shorter. |

No real difference in leads, but I did have a guy try to convince me once that I had to buy specific Subaru ignition leads for my old sooby. I asked him what kind of spark subaru used for their 240 dollar leads. He said he didn't know but it was special. ![]() |

I used to use Top Guns but found they broke down in wet weather after a couple of years. I changed to Bosch ones, @ $5 each (in various lengths, from yer local Supercrap store) years ago, no more problems. ![]() |

Cool, I'll have to take them in and match them up soon. I got zapped by one the other day which was a shock cause the insulation around the plugs looks fine.... |
