OK. . .effectively a Mini restoration question, I guess. Does anyone know what car Mini Jem windscreens were sourced from? Thanks, Pete & Soaf |

I've gone through all my mini and other books today and none mention where the screen was sourced from , only that the rake of it was changed in some model changes . Googling it didn't help either , have you tried the English clubs ? |

Yeah, that's more of less the information that I have. . .yes, I'll try the English clubs next if nothing turns up here. I *think* the screen is from a Fiat. . .but what model, I have no idea. . . Thanks for your help, Pete & Soaf |

Follow the same link down to: http://www.minijem.plus.com/ and there are some brochures that may tell you something more. Sorry I haven't read them, I should be doing stuff. |

I was looking at some of the info on the Kingfisher (a Jem derivative) and it mentions that it uses the Quote: 1303 S VW beetle windscreen. I don't know if this was changed from the Jem but they seem pretty similar.
Rear window of the Kingfisher was from a datsun coupe (presumably 1200 coupe ?) |
