Assuming you have the right rubbers (there are 2 types- early & late)- Put the bolt in, then squeeze the big headed end of it in with vicegrips or multigrips until you can get the nut started. ![]() |

hehehehe I have been watching your site JAM for a long time (great site btw! ![]() hmmmm.... I did wonder if maybe I there was different sets of rubbers. I no longer have the old ones that came off to compare with...... should the 2 rubbers when installed have any overhang once they are through the "big headed end" of the lower suspension arm? my guess is that the rubbers should sit flush inside that big headed end.... and if that is the case.... then I do have the wrong rubbers! which is a real buuger cos when I bought all the rubber bits and pieces i remember thinking that it cost me a fortune. Might have to take to them with a knife just for a quick fix so I can move the min. |

The old arms with a straight hole had parallel rubbers with no tube inside. The later arms were tapered inside, used tapered rubbers with a metal tube inside. |
