Howdy fellow clubber ![]() I also downloaded plans for a box like console, but it would have been pretty heavy in MDF and limit foot room near the clutch, so looked at ways to minimise & lighten it. I've just constructed a lightweight centre console, based roughly on the look of the new MINI centre console, see pics in my "members gallery" here http://www.ausmini.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12981 I painted it up last night - looking sweet ![]() this one screws in from behind under the heater switches, so when removed, no holes should be easily visible, and no holes needed into the floor. Cheers. |
