How easy is it to see the gauges??? not criticising, i am re-doing my dash and i want to know if you can still see them or if they should be angled?? i am 6 foot, so i am not sure if i would be able to see the tops.

Cheers
Chris

When making up mine I had numerous trial fittings to make sure I could see the gauges if you are going to the trouble of making your own dash then IMO you should make sure it's right.

when fitting the guages flush with dash face (mine does this) I found it hard to get enough tilt on the dash face (mine is made out of aluminium) and I wanted it fitting flush ie no boxed section around the gauges.

<EDIT> I'm not tall but I do tend to sit close to the wheel so this makes it worse

yea i wanted to have mine without the box but yea was easier this way think im gonna make another one without box will be easier cos can just trace the one i just made as it fit perfect, i used 12mm mdf and trimmed the edges to bout 5mm thick bout 10mm in so sat snug round edges
