Well that's an easy one.

Someone start organising MINISHOW 2006 now.

That way I can relax like everyone else and enjoy showing my car for a change.

I'm not saying anyone is a whinger.

Everyone has a right to their opinion and comments and constructive criticism is always welcome.

Why should someone be penalised for actually volunteering to organise a major event and then be expected not to participate in the largest Mini event in Australia. Please!

Hey Scott can u delete that Poll, its pretty un called for!

This is a happy post not a whinge! :D

wats the difference between an organiser winning and Joe Blow winning, there is certain rules u must follow to win!

1. have a mini - Jan does
2. Be entered in the show - Mutant was entered
3. be worthy of an award - do i have to say anything about that?

if Jan (or anybody else for that matter) was getting paid to do the job of organiser, then it might be a different matter! (doubt it)

who cares who wins trophies, or even how many they win (congrats Jan) we should all be happy with the out come!

REMEMBER, this type of event is supposed to be FUN, we should be impressed that people are saving our cars from the scrap yard!

EVERYBODY HAS DIFFERENT TASTE'S AND IMAGINATIONS SO PLEASE RESPECT THERE WAY OF DOIN THINGS!

I have no problem with organisers getting their cars judged.

At AutoSalon, the organisers are allowed to enter cars for display purposes, but cant have them judged.

But AutoSalon is a different kettle of fish, AND they get paid.

Yes, Jan took home a crate of trophies (or should i say a few crates  ), but the car wasnt free to build. It cost Jan wads of cash to have a COMPLETE SHOW CAR. Seeing that level of work will inspire others to be bigger and better next year, and even if they only concentrate on one particular area, it could still beat Jan to that particular trophy.

Just my 2 cents.

I guess it's no coincidence that you only joined today and post this sort of message.

I am assuming that we know you under a different log on perhaps?

You could have at least let everyone know who you really are.
