Just got me rego renewal - over $500 :shock:
I'm sure it was "only" $400 last year. What exactly does the TAC charge cover ?
If i have fully comp insurance am I covered twice somewhere.
End of whinge :oops:

You'll find that it was like $480 last time, now about $505?

Don't ask me what it all covers, lol. All I know is that it is cheaper here in Vic than it is in NSW. PLUS... we have better roads! :lol: :lol: :lol:

cost me $790 this year :roll:

CTP = ~$560
Pink Slip = ~$30
Rego = ~$200

Then there is insurance on top of that..

MiniBob CTP = Compulsory Third Party insurance, basically covers everything except you and your car..You can't register a car in NSW without it.

way back when it was included in our rego cost's it was cheap to register the car then it was deregulated and private insurers got into it and the cost of rego nearly dbled over night cos of the greedy pricks
