Post subject: | Tandem master cylinder to single help |
I went to install my new clutch master cylinder plastic type, to find it wont fit with a tandem brake cylinder, i also have a brand new brake master cylinder(single type), so what i want to know is how to i convert back to the single setup, also on my clubman the brake switch is under the brake pedal, so i guess i dont need the mech type on stop switch, also my tandem master cylinder has a brake fail switch, which i assume i just dont connect up, also do i need the anti lock thing at the bacl of the car. i am confused what i need to do so any help would be great |

You can not legally go from dual circuit brakes to single circuit brakes. It is part of the ADR's. You would need to change a few brake pipes to change to the single circuit. |

If it's a 72 Clubby it should have single circuit anyway. So no worries. ![]() |
