Sometimes the bleeder and the hole it sits in block up with crud and you may need to remove the bleeder screw and clean the hole in it and also the hole in the clutch cylinder. A small drill bit is very good to clean the hole in the bleeder.

Replace the hose. Cheap to replace and, when old, they often swell and restrict the flow, sometimes to the point where the clutch won't fully engage as the fluid can't return.

ok took off all the hoses and were all clear so i dunno, just kept topping up the MC till new fluid ran through, clutch feels much better now, and doesnt crunch any gears anymore.

my ohter question is there is alot of shudder. As a new engine will be going in my car in a few months i dont want to buy a new clutch plate, i have this second hand one here that i might try, what do you think???

i cant see why not
