I believe that's an early styling exercise that predates the Bini. I like it, and think it should have been the shape for the Cooper S.

As an aside, I am so bored with the shape of the Bini. Which begs the question, how do you update a retro-based design? If it's visually based on a design from the 70s, do you try and mimic the 80s? Mazda copied the MG roadster with the MX5, and have now been able to step away with the new design with the new MX5, but I doubt the Bini will be able to.

You must be bored ANdrew , pretty much each of your post's I've looked at today has had a different sig pic at the bottom ...... Go back to the odd black grille shot , much better in my opinion , a little freaky ....
