Has anyone got a really cool looking antenna ..... I presume this should be in Car Audio ..... but it isn't really

I would like something that looks cool and bling if possible

if anything, the roof mounted areials are the best looking, you can get black powder coated ones, which look cool.

Roof mounted factory LS ones are da bomb. Look right on a Mini, too (of couse, being factory).

problem is i have a hole in the top of the guard - could probably put a plug in it but that looks pathetic (sorry if anyone has that)

I even had a thought of one of those beemer aerials the little shark fin .... you can buy them on ebay

I think they usually get a patch welded or something on the inside of the guard and then bog to fill it up and sand back to level. :wink:

Indeed they do, had one of the useless mirrors on the drivers side mud-guard before. Was taken off and a patch welded in. Not unless you (some-how) fit a electric aerial in?

dude where cant you get em, there everywhere in autobarns, bursons, repco, any automotive shop, and cost a whole $12.99. Thats the after market types, but theres no difference, if not there better.

You can buy chrome roof mount aerials from Supercheap, i think i paid around $14 for one.

Modern rooof mounts abound but they are nothing like the genuine LS factory version

And in my opinion - they don't even come close in the bling stakes to the original either

I wear a modern one but keep an eye out for an original - one will turn up sooner or later
