Well I removed the brand new Neoprene Engine Steady Bushes this morning because whenever you take off the firewall tried to move with the motor - I tried to drive the car easily to hopefully not let it pull so hard but I was always conscious of it....there is no give in the neoprene like there is in rubber...

The rubber ones are fantastic I put them back in and it almost feels like a different car....

Has anyone else had this problem?
Why would one go to Neoprene? Race Car?

Cheers Gerard

Yep, had that same problem with some customers cars, keep the rubber ones, as long as they are in good knick there is nothing wrong with them.

They are meant for fast road/race cars, but people want to make there car like a racing car so fit them...

Same with solid engine mounts

Here's a trick... if you think there isn't enough give... use rubber on one end, and neoprene on the other end. 8)
