Yesterday was an eventful day for myself and the little purple people eater.

I filled up my mums mini with water yesterday (the radiator not the actual car) just before my journey home and notice a few little brown floaties in the water.

with my dad being a mechanic i knew what this was straight away, so i checked under the oil filler cap and yep, you guessed it milky white.

HEAD GASKET IS KAPPUTT!!!!

God Damn It, so anyway, i wanted to see how far i could get before i ran out of fuel, so i grabbed the jerry can from work and chucked it in the boot. about 10mins from home there is a slight incline, ***putt putt putt--------*** she died, luckily i was able to roll backwards into a driveway that was there so that i was off the road.

Was interesting because the day before there was a lady that had run out of fuel about 20m further up the rd. then where i did.

I will go over to mums on onday (public Holiday) and finish my mini so i can drive that to work on tuesday *fingers crossed*

Then we can start pulling the clapped out 998 out of mums deluxe and slap in in the new fan-dangle 1275 +0.040

Fun was had by all involved (Me) and nobody was hurt (also me) now the p.p.e. will go into the shed for a few weeks/months until the engine is done :)

Probably the most exciting day of my life so far (in a mini anyway)

Cheers

Rohan
