Post subject:  Brake light switch

The brake light switch in my 95 mini cooper is playing up, It's fallen to pieces a couple of times and the contacts inside are now worn and keep bending apart after short amounts of driving. It looks like this:

Does anyone know if they are an easy to get off the shelf item, its obviously been used in a lot of different cars. ie. can I roll up to a Land rover or MG dealership and maybe buy one?

:) thanks

Im sure any switch with the correct power handling could be fitted to the pedal.
Just go into Dick Smith or Jaycar and find the closest size. Probably wont cost you
$24.95 either! :D
