The brake light switch in my 95 mini cooper is playing up, It's fallen to pieces a couple of times and the contacts inside are now worn and keep bending apart after short amounts of driving. It looks like this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Mechanical-Brake-light-switch-Mini-Triumph-Rover-NEW_W0QQitemZ4618761986QQcategoryZ32072QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Does anyone know if they are an easy to get off the shelf item, its obviously been used in a lot of different cars. ie. can I roll up to a Land rover or MG dealership and maybe buy one? ![]() |

Im sure any switch with the correct power handling could be fitted to the pedal. Just go into Dick Smith or Jaycar and find the closest size. Probably wont cost you $24.95 either! ![]() |
