I think you will find it'll be cheaper to tow it yourself. I looked at gettig a ute from melbourne at one point to sydney and the cheapest i was quoted was 700 plus insurance...

I got a quote from VIP Automotive transport to get a mini from sydney to SE melbourne, and that cost $500 including a car wash + vacuum.

when i bought my mini from sydney!
i rang up TNT! - theres bascially 2 options!

1) complete cover (as in mini is within a truck - not affected by rain) think it was abt 530 including insurance - door to door

2) without cover (mini is strapped onto the back of a truck - can be wet if it rains) - 430 including insurance - door to door

i wanted to save the 100 bucks so i went for the cheaper version - takes upto 5 workin days....but can be done within 3 if u got a friendly operator!

A mate used Finemores to transport a Moke from Brisbane to Morwell (about 200km SE Melbourne) - $500 door to door. Quite reasonable!

It would cost me more than that in accomodation and Diesel for the fourby! 8)
