I have heard various things about which fuel mixture to run for a Mini. Some say convert to unleaded some say keep the leaded head and use valvem,aster/flashlube. I was wondering which is the best for performance but also not to the poiunt where u get like 150 kms out of a tank?.... give or take.

as per my user name its is a 1350 so what ever advise anyone can give is a bonus for me.

Depends how far you want to go..performance wise you can fit bigger valves if you don't fit unleaded inserts..

Just use flashlube, works well and it's cheap per tank.

I find the best pump fuel is actually Mobile Synergy 8000 98 and Caltex Vortex Gold 98. I find Ultimate actually loses it's potency after a few days sitting idle... but that could just be me...

I use all 3 of the 98s, with Flashlube in mine- and 95 Premium without additives in the wife's 1293 (it has unleaded exhaust inserts).
