Probably clutch throwout bearing , fairly easy to replace , just one of the mini design foibles ...... Unbolt the drivers side engine mount , disconnect the spring from the slave cylinder to the clutch arm , jack the drivers side of the engine up a bit , remove the 7/16th bolts around the clutch housing and take the big alloy clutch housing off (Just the first bit of it that has the clutch lever on it ) . The remove the clutch lever , undo the big bolt and take the shaft with the bearing out . Get the bearing replaced (put on with a press) and then reassemble and adjust the clutch as per the manual .
