not what I usually think..... but hey, whatever floats your boat 1/ behind the drivers seat 2/ it runs across the back of the van, behind the rear subframe - it's like a long rectangular box |

To answer striped63's question, the battery goes just behind the drivers seat on the floor in a van. But if you need to move the seat further back, you can relocate the battery like this:
