When driving the mini below 2000 rpm it shunts over that it runs fine.
l previously had a ramflow filter which l have replaced with a k & n clone.
l am running a hif44 carb with a BBW needle. l have played around with the mixture and timing without success. lt seems that it is running rich below 2000rpm but the plugs are fine( nice tan color). Was thinking of trying a leener needle a BDL. Any suggestions ?

check your ignition timing & your cam timing (refer to manual)

Sounds like the 'ignition' is not happening at the right valve events in the low revs...

Just an idea?
