Does anyone out there use this product......... any feedback i.e problems issues etc on the product? I will be using this and i just want to know a bit more about it.....

It burns dirty. Use flashlube mate, it's the best out there.

I used to use it, now I use Flashlube. Does the same job, is cheaper, and everything stays clean. And it works too. I pulled the head after 30,000 miles for a look- valve seats were cleaner and better looking than in the old `leaded Super' days.
<edit> unlike my son's Clubbie 1098, which pulled chunks of metal out of the seats in the head (using unleaded fuel with NO additive)...

1L of Flashlube does 1,000L of fuel and costs $16 or so. So adds only 1.6c/L to your fuel bill.

yeh i use flashlube
use it even if your car has been converted to unleaded seats
its supposed to give better milage n cleaner engine
you dont notice the 1.6c/L, although it seems so high
havent tried valvemaster

I have used flashlube for near on 2 years now and the brick runs like a dream. I too have had the 1100 head converted to unleaded but the flashlube also keeps the entire fuel system clean and in good order. The cylinders have a light tan colour to them and there is no oily residue at all(unlike valvemaster)on any of the burn exposed surfaces. There is no carbon build up at all on the head and valves. I use optimax in the 998 and really what is the extra cost anyhow. I am prepared to pay for it as long as I continue to drive a car - the price you pay for mobility.

A good hint to all about removing carbon deposits from your vehicle. My father was a truckie for near on 30 years and rebuilt all of his motors(hence why i have a misdirected interest in anything mechanical!!) but he would set the idle for the cummins 450 at approx 1500 rpm and using one of those trigger packs squirt a fine mist of water into the air intake. The results on the diesel were spectacular to say the least. It snowed black soot for quite a while. The same can be done for any naturally aspirated motor - my lawn mower gets the treatment monthly - and it just frees up the soot and such at the top end of the motor. Obviously dont get the garden hose out and jam it into the air box - two squirts of the fine mist once a month really does wonders for those running on moments.

guys.... thanks heaps for the feedback....... the only other question is where do i get flashlube from up here in QLD???? I am gathering from autobarns, supercheap auto etc.

Supercheap dont sell Flashlube here in Geelong. They sell the inline kits, but not bottles. I have seen it at Autobarn, Repco and Autopro.

Autobarn seems to be one of the places in QLD to buy flashlube. A lotta servo's sell it anyway, but they might charge ya a couple bucks more for it.

i have been using flashlube on my 3 old cars for 3 years with no problems.
i get mine from auto 1 for $16.50 a litre
and like the previous reader said 1 mil flashlube=1litre petrol
