Anyone know where to get these from? Top pivot pin thingy snapped and now top of the glass swings free of the frame, so need to replace the pin, silly question but are these sort of things easily replaced by something fairly standard and available, after all it is just a simple pin. Has anyone had to replace theirs if so what did you use? Help appreciated. |

Okay re-read it all understand now - they are actually like a rivet thingo and were common to many cars of the era. Try Ford or Holden - if no go then try Karcraft or a mini wrecker. Changing the whole quarter glass assembly is easy enough but time comsuming I have several here but i am sure so does Matt read and he is much closer. |

I have used a short 5mm stainless bolt with nyloc nut for these. Work fine, just don't do it up too tight. |

Sorry to steal the thread but what about the bottom pivot pin in a 1/4 vent window , dad's broken another one in the cooper S and most of our spares are very sad , can they be replaced or look for a better one ? |

a car smash? ![]() Nope , just age , go to open the 1/4 vent and the bottom's snapped off on a couple of them now , the little window's left swinging by the top hinge only . |
