Just curious as to how hard it is to fit sportspack arches to a mini? Any advice would be appreciated

They are relatively straight forward to fit, you will need to get a set of templates which shows you where to cut, drill etc. One of the Miniworld KYMA issues featured step by step instructions on fitting them.

The front arches will need slight modification to accomodate the bottom external door hinge, which the UK models don't have.

I'm in the process of sourcing some as we speak. Any suggestions?? how big how wide? the ones I was looking at were 13"s by 5.5 is that wide enough. I heard that was the widest you could go without needing to cut anything out.

I really love the look of Mini's with the sportspack flares but I'm not quite sure as to what i'm going to have to do to make them look sweet. Such as what is the minimum size wheels I can get while looking good. How much cutting and what kind of spacers would I need? Can someone please let me know i really need to know. I'm so confused

With 13x5.5's, you could have Sportspack arches without cutting anything. You would need to have a minimum of 3 inches wheel-to-arch clearance though.

If you want to go LOW, you will need to cut 1 inch of steel from the front 2/3's of the steel panel. The front most point (near the bumper mounting flange) is the most critical for clearance, as this is the first thing to foul when turning.

The following pictures should give you an idea. I have removed an inch from the wing panel only... the seam is still standard length. You could blend the last 3 inches of cutting back to the original lip at the seam if you wanted to, no worries. This cutting was able to fit my 13x6's with 175's at a low ride height. Needed to remove more steel to fit 13x7's.
