Hi there guys, Just wondering if anyone would know where I can get some body panels acid dipped to strip the paint off them (within Sydney) Cheers |

Have you looked into beed or sand blasting. I got my mini blasted with sand. And it came up a treet, I have heard people say that it can distort panels, But i found that to be bull. |

Yeah I have had a few things blasted and they have been damaged in the process, There are just a couple of things i would like to get dipped if possible |

When my old man was restoring his Pontiac, he had the front guards and the bonnet acid dip, and sandblasted the remainder of the vehicle. Came up really good. |

apparently, acid dipping strips paint in areas that you can't get paint into... leaving bare metal to rust away out of view... |

im board, so heres my thoughts I have read that you can sand blast using a wider fan, the process has a different name, but basicly it is faster and prevents distortion. Alternitivly there is a process called plastic media blasting which takes off as bad paint and bog, leaving a primable surface. |

Or you can use Soda Plasting. www.sodablast.com.au/ They will also come to you. Pete |
