Looking for some feedback on roll cages. I have a clubman with a half cage. Today I had a Mini guy look at it for a roadworthy, and among other things he said that the half cage was not acceptable for a roadworthy as the rear bars came down the back window (about 6 inches apart) and even though I can see through them in the rear view, he said the police would pick me up straight away. Appreciate any feedback from people who have experienced this or found a way around. Alfie1 |

im pretty sure you need an engineering cert for it. |

In NSW you need engineering. I have a half cage in mine, drive it all the time, have racing numbers on the side, and the cops always look and point and laugh. The mini is cute... if you dont drive like an idiot, they usually just look and laugh. |
