Wat makes u think its a replica?? He seems to state in several places in the questions asked that it is a genuine 69 Cooper S, a Mk1 1/2. 10 grand is pretty cheap actually!!!!!

If it's a 69, there was no VIN plate until December, and they stopped fitting the BMC ID plates early in the year.
8689 is way too high a body number for any Oz Cooper S though.
More likely a Mini-K, if that is the number, IMO.

Dude if it is a stolen recovered all othe numbers WILL have been removed..... you can't have two sets of ID numbers on a car. This doesn't make it any less an original Cooper S. Maybe less a value and at 10k that is about what you would pay for a cooper S with stolen recovered numbers. Coming on here and bagging someones car without actually seeing it is pretty small minded....

Identity of cooper S cars is not always about numbers, there are alot of very weird numbers along the line from the BMC factory, and to take things on numbers alone is probably the dumbest thing you could do. If you had looked over the car and seen all the tell tale signs you could comment. until you have why get on here and act like MR i know my numbers in one post and then Ask about number in another. Back in your box.

Why can't people on here leave sellers alone? I don't know this guy that sold the car so i have no ties to him. Grow up people and stop being a bunch of losers who have nothing better to do than pick on others.
