Has anyone fitted a toyota supercharger to a mini. if so how did it perform.
Just deciding if I go the" whole hog" on this engine. It might just be a bigger bang when it lets go.

So what is the record for the most power out through a mini gearbox before it exploded?

lots of people with SC12 superchargers off toyotas on their minis, and they perform very very well - that looks to be an SC14

...........

An SC14 doubled the output of my brothers Feroza, lifting the front passenger wheel and holding it up every time you gave it a boot full was very fun .

After a long hard think, I won't put the blower on this eng. I am very tempted,but after rushing the earlier twin cam eng and stuffing it up I will do it right.
The other eng is getting a rebore with a set of bike pistons and a set of steel main brg caps. I have to finish machining the new steel rods for the pistons. At least the bottom end should hold together.
As for Wombat's suggestion, the only car I have in my collection that is not dismantled is the moke I just bought. I will worry about that later
