Just a quick Question..... Does anyone know where i can get a Gunson ColourTune from in Brisbane, Ive tried all the usual places like Autobarn, Supercheap, Repco.

Try autopro.. I got mine from there, they should be able to order one in.. or from another autopro store or something..

EDIT: theres a couple on ebay, usa and UK...

I got mine from Mini Spares some years ago and it was a lot cheaper than buying it here.

I believe Hardimans in Sydney sell Gunson stuff. I've always fancied one of Gunson's Easibleed kits and their exhaust gas analyser.

I was hoping someone would have answered you but.... so here goes

The Gunsons colourtune is a park plug like affair with a glass top that lets you see the colours of the petrol burning in a running motor. Too rich a petrol mixture burns at a different colour to too lean a petrol mixture and so on.

You replace a normal spark plug with a colourtune, start the motor and adjust the mixture of the carby depending on the colour of the petrol burning. A very handy litrtle tool.

I have had one for many many years and would be without it.
