I am trying to get hold of a 1275 Engine to suit Rebuild in SA ! Can anyone Help ? Dont want to spend to much due to all the $$$ going into the Engine ! Thanks

Could you define "too much"? A 1275 A+ in need of a build might set you back over 700 if you can find one.

I saw that listing - I say good on that person for coming up with such a ingenious way of placing a wanted add. I just wonder what the listing fee on $200000 was????

I am looking at no more than $400 Don't require the Manifolds, Carb, Alt, S/Motor etc etc ! Im in No Rush ! Thanks

About 2 years ago I paid $500 for a 1275 engine (without a gearbox) that needed a full rebuild......... and THAT was a "mates rates" price. Theyre usually getting $750+ in most cases, and thats for a bad one, because lots of people are looking and willing to pay more. |

I was told an unmodified complete with box engine not seized would fetch $1000+ |
