the wreck from my crash last week is going to be auctioned pretty soon. Dont know many details yet but il put them up when i know. Id rather my mini goes to an enthusiast that someone with little knowledge on them.

1993 Rover Mayfair, BRG white roof and bonnet stripes. 1.3l efi. a/c, 135, 000km.
Is fully complied and been in Oz since 2001.

head on smash. most of front right side messed up. bent chassis in places. Assessor says worth about $2000 now. I could buy wreck for $2000 but would cost too much to fix up so im letting it go to auction. Il put details up ASAP.

Has it been written off or is it repairable (read new shell).

How much do you think is stuffed under the bonnet?

We've got a Deluxe shell sitting here and would be great if we could pull the funds to get this wreck and do a transplant!

I'd say that if it's been written off by a smash repairer then it's not worth the time trying to straighten out that shell.

However their's nothing to stop you from re shelling all of it into something older. if you have a bare shell and want a EFI 1275 with AC this will be a steal. these later one's have lot's of nice touches that you don't see in Older OZ mini's

it is definetly repairable. I paid $9300 for the car last year and thought it was a massive bargain, but unfortunately thats all it was insured for. It would cost more than $10,000 apparently to fix it, and now i just want something a bit bigger and safer.
The car is currently at A-Grade panels in West Heidelberg, Vic. (03) 94595520 so give them a call to see what could be done to fix it.
But i will put info up later about the auction.
it would be great for parts, as the car was in great condition before the crash.
