Nah, can that request. I found that the windings inside the new SU pump I've got here were shorted to the frame of the pump - unfixable. Cos it's an ebay special, it's not covered under warranty.
So I removed all the working bits off the new pump and attached them to another SU pump winding that I've got here that's about 40 years old. All the parts swapped straight over and the pump runs like a champ, but now it's solid state never will I have to piss about with dirty points again.
Not bad for a 40 year gap in production, everything still fits.
