After a rather long break from touching my mini's (due to bloody reno's to house) its time to finally get one on the road!!!
I have aquired a engine (998) with box (22g1832) apparently it was reconditioned? its in peices so as i'm very new to bulding engines my questions are:
1) what do i check to determine condition of engine (ie if it was reconditioned),how do i tell if pistons are any good?? basicaly want to know if its good to go back together and go in.
2) i have a 22g295 head to go on it, is there any performance mods worth doing to engine to complement head while its in peices? cam etc.. my budget aint big though
