Post subject:  Weight of 1275

Hi,

I've got to look into freight costs for a 1275 from QLD to GRs place in sydney. I need to know some weights to get prices.

1275 Block - Bare (from 1100s)
Rods with Pistons
Crank

Any help?

Cheers

Post subject:  Weight of 1275 for freighting

Just so anyone else who wants to send there block somewhere (GRs for example) :wink: :wink: can work out the cost;

1275 block (1100s based)
Crank
Rods
Pistons
cam
(assembled)

Packed in a extra H/D box with ply underneath and at the ends.

Weighed 56kgs

The other box with flywheel(3.7kg), clutch assy, engine backing plate new pistons and harmonic balancer was 10kg packed.

Freight to Russell Engineering from Warwick in QLD was about $80.00

Hope this comes in handy for someone!
