Airborne many times but never really done a serious jump . They do fly fairly level when you hit a decent but gradual hump in the road or hump back bridge at speed but never gone more than a couple of meters in length or a few hundred mm in height . Just don't hit the ground so hard the gearbox casing bottoms out or you'll put dints in the bonnet from the aircleaners like siclad did ....

Theres a very famous picture of MCCNSW life member Gary Mondy doing a massive jump in the Castlereagh state forest in Sydney some time in the late 60's, the resulting damage from the landing was a broken passenger seat mount & a crack in the front windscreen. The mini is around 10 feet in the air in it flight, mighty impessive.

I have also jumped a few Commodores!
I don't know about damage, they were rent-a-cars. 8)
Jumped a Budget VH when they were brand new up in the sticks near Wingham (NSW) started off small jumps and worked my way up a bit but no huge jumps, just enough to stop it engaging park.
Did some big jumps in a VN, they were big enough to take the front bumper off.
If you want big jumps you want a Hyundai Sonata.

Thats pretty damn funny!

You can treat a Commodore like a Rolls Royce and it is still a pile of cr@p after 5 years

I can say that, because I have owned 6 of them.

there's a speed bump when you come up from the pass at byron bay. everytime molly goes over it een at the slowest of speeds and i mean up to the point when she is nearly gonna stall in 1st gear she goes over the bump and must jump a bit (or not) loses traction and screech for a second. very cute very molly very a jump.
she usualy is fine, just a little embarrassed.

Ask them if their Commodores leak oil and they will say No!
Then wipe your fingers under the steering rack and show them the oil!

yep, jumped a few minis, your head hits the roof, tyres may scrape the guards if she's sittin low and you could also scrape the sump, but otherwise they're good.
