i just put a black dot about 5mm under the hole for the flare (centre hole) and another 5mm under the hole at bottom, then join the dots with a nice curve and cut it. ![]() |

i just left it flat, i know its better to bend it for strenght, but in my opinion i dont think that area needs much strength, its just there to hold the flares on.lol |

the cut edge is usually bent to 90 degrees so that there is no chance of it cutting into your tyre under heavy load.... panel strength is just a bonus... |

what about normal flares. Does anyone have a site or information on fitting those..? I have 2" fibreglass flares but the info I have is for 13" wheels but I am keeping mine at 12" so dont need to cut the panels... but then do you flatten the lip already on the car, or leave the lip there..? |
