But mini handling with a lighter and more aerodynamic body and 1400 cc twin cam motor , if you had the choice between a modern hatch and it I'd take it . Just not sure about getting bits for the K series Metro motor now though ....

that's a given - I'd take it over any modern hatch too, particularly at that price :D

ditch the K series motor, and bring one of those Vauxhall 2l ones in the container with it ;) (yeah, or go honda)

Funny but in the last month or so there has been 3 kingdfishers up for sale and all have been basket cases, there were only about 30 odd made in total but it usually happens like this the first one seems to make people remember that old one they have floating around the shed hidden by crap for the last 10 years or so. The first one was at least complet as far as the body and interior was concerned but the last couple are just shells, agree ditch the K series and go Honda :D
