O.k after doing a little research its looking like its almost impossible to import a 99,00 Classic mini from the UK to Australia.

Only mini`s prior to 1988 can be imported under Australian laws...

My question is... Is there ANY way around this? Would I need to live in the UK for 12months to then bring it in as a Personal Import?

I know the mini is eligible for SEVS import, but I don`t think any company wishes to front up the expenses for an evidence package to allow imports.

Does anyone know of any company that is looking at creating an evidence package to allow imports of 1989 - 2000 classic minis?
