Let us know where in Sydney you are and see if someone can go with you for a look , but as Chris said , the roof gutters , A panels , sills etc , just have a good look all round it . ALso , make sure you know where the panel joins are supposed to be on a mini and if they are missing (bogged over) on the front panels then there could be something hiding under there ...

If you can, get some one who no's minis to go with you, they are an invaluable help, i was in the same situation (minus the tree) and chris came with me, and it was the smartest move, and just a hint take a magnet with u, if there are any parts with paint on it, place the magnet on the car, if it sticks or there is magnetism the body is good, if not most likely bog is under the paint.

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

thanks for the heads up about rust guys, it would be apreciated for someone to look at it with me, however i wont be ready to look for a few months, i just realised the rego is due on my current car so that puts me a few bucks out of pocket coz i need new tyers for road worthy too..
