hearsay from those on the minimania forum say they aren't much chop. Something about not enough spring rate, more wank and bling willy style ect..

I had a thought that those big rubber cones might have more support that a spring.

What about the spring over shocks?http://www.minimania.com/web/Item/CK17/AddedFrom/CatBrowse%2D%20SUSPENSION/InvDetail.cfm

Would these make that big a difference for the price?

Oh hehe
Well rubber has proven itself to be very sufficient.. if it wasn't, nobody would be running rubber suspension anymore

Unless i'm mistaken, there was talk in the A/C thread about extending the budget...

and...unless you have alot of excess $$$$$$$$$$ they are not worth it.

There is nothing wrong with the way a rubber coned mini handles on a good set of shocks and possibly a rear swaybay with some good tires.

So basically if you have money to burn on bling suspension gear its more a pissing contest that an improved car.

The a/c question was another thread.

Its not totally useless... just the money could be better spent in other areas... making the motor go faster/be more reliable, and of course making the car stop better once the motor is faster.

If you have oodles of cash... do it :D (then tell us what theyre like)

I'd agree with that 8)

Yes, but you did say you were trying to stretch the budget to include A/C and if buying bling suspension it would detract from that budget would it not?

willy who refuses to believe anything so pretty could be so useless  :P
