Hi just wondering if anyone has bought the stainless steel flares, i was told they screw on to the lip of the gaurd from underneath.But the lip on the flares don't seem to reach the lip on the gaurd.

i always thought they were covers for the rover flairs? am i wrong? :?

no you're not wrong... they are flare COVERS for the cheapie screw on flares as used by rover...

I got a set of alloy Cosmic wheel arches at a show in England a couple of years ago and have them fitted to TT.

These are pop-rivited onto the body above the line of holes that Rover used (it meant redrilling my wings but what the heck!!) They then take the chrome sill beading. Cosmic arches were actually used on some of the Works Coopers and mine are a genuine set of unused arches that I got still in their box.
