Post subject:  Changing Diff Oil Seals
Just a quick question,

I need to replace the oil seals in the diff end covers on my 1100, can they be changed with the covers still attached once the flange is removed or will they need to be remved to fit the new ones?

You can do it all in there, i just jack up the car on the one side & do that one

& then jack the other side up to do that one

helps keep all the oil in & not spilling out all over the floor when you pull the yokes/pots out.

that is, unless you`re dropping all the oil anyways, then just jack the whole dam thing up & do them both at once.

Thanks for that, I hoped thats how they could be done.. :D
Will do them tomorrow. Then hopefully that will satisfy the Roadworthy guy.
