Just wondering what different extractors are out there.
And what people use and like the best.

I suppose the LCB's seem to be the most popular choice. I was led to believe they'd be better than the original cooper 3-into-1's I had. There's a few different types of LCB's. I ended up buying the Maniflow ones from the UK. They didn't cost much more than some of the 'cheaper' locally made ones I'd looked at - $300 including the collector. as eveyone else says about the maniflows they fitted really nicely and the quality is very good. also the collector mounts horizontally under the car so there's no chance of it falling off (unlike some of the cheaper ones)

One thing to also be wary of is dont go too big on diameter - I fell into the trap of bigger is better. It necessarily isnt in most cases and stick to the smaller bore extractors. Also check the workmanship of the welds, should be lapped and the finish should be top notch. Agin I was suckered into buying "genuine" mini extractors and found that they were shoddy and subsequently returned to place of purchase(with a lot of chastising at the counter!). 1 7/8 diameter pipe is good on all but the bigger bore stuff and they look a treat(sound great too...).

Just another hint - make sure the clamping brackets are secured with the bolty bits close in to the exhaust tunnel as the scraping on the speed humps can get annoying at times...

Hooroo for now

Has anyone looked at of has use the ones form LInk Automotive as I have on seen them on their website and they look different to the normal LCB's that I have used in the past.

If any has used them what are they like and can you fit a MG metro intake Manifold on with then As i have been told that they pipes come straight out from the ports then get bent downwards.
