having a hassle with the fuel sender unit - it's not working!!! Anyway, Had a bit of a look tonight - finally - but I can't work out how to take it out of the petrol tank. Is it just a case of turn and pull - just like taking out a light globe???? Should I use a FBH (well, a small one perhaps) to tap it anti-clockwise or should it just come out using my "strength"

I like to whappity whappity whappity at it with a drift (a screwdriver will do) and a hammer of some sort. Once it starts twisting it will come away easily. |

Ok then, I'll give it a few of them whapity whap things. I did the same job on a falcon several years ago and that was just like a light globe - push in, twist then pull, so I assumed this would be the same. Cheers for the reply |
