Obviously the crank is still in it?
Hit one end of crank away from the block with a lump of wood, the leverage will dislodge the centre main cap.

Can anybody give me some tips on removal of the centre main bearing cap? I've removed the other two relatively easily, but this one wont budge, but I can't see that there would be anything causing it to be stuck, other than those locator ring thingoes being a bit reluctant. And obviously I don't particularly want to whack it with a hammer! |
