Yeah , well,,,next year`s bathurst is the 40th anniversary of the Mini`s outright win at Bathurst & i`m thinking about trundling down that way for a celebration of that most wonderous day

anyone else thinking about the trek & what`s the plans with a big "Meet Up"????????

I`m hoping to have the Turbo Bimmer Twinky powered Monaco Fastback ready & willing for the journey, so i really do have my work cut out to have it ready in time & i`ll also be driving it the whole way down (if it actually is ready in time)

just figuring we could start a list of who`s goin & maybe an itinerary or series of "possible" events to throw around with everyone having their say as to what/when/where/why/who/& how we could be a big bunch of mini nutters hangin it all out together

I know there should be a whole heap of mini car clubs organising things for it, just maybe we could all hook up for an even bigger bash than just individual clubs doin their thing

Can you all have a chat to your respective clubs & lets see if we can get this thread to actually work the way that i think we`d all like to see it work

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Yeah??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Bathurst 1st "Outright"

:-)

Which bathurst are you talking about ??? Australia day - 40 years of muscle cars thingo - All I know about it is that its on as per Mini Experience mag.

I am two hours from Bathurst and I will be at that one. Perhaps someone closer to the MCCNSW committee can enlighten us with any other plans as your right - some planning is neccessary.

I'm off to Bathurst this weekend coming for the Bathurst historic car club's anual rally.

Great weekend of driving

Sorry not your Bathurst mini thing but there will be minis there and it is a great weekend $75 entry fee that includes Sunday morning tea, rally pack and grill badge and $30 for the dinner and auction on the Saturday night.
