i hope this works as a link but otherwise please copy into the address bar I wish to find out how many core raditor this might be. engine block came outta of a morris 1100 S if that heaps but I dont know if its the one it came with either. whats the usual for a 1275?

Just looks like a standard radiator to me.

The LS ones were about 1/2" wider, for the 4 cores. Also had the top hose going into the rear of the top tank.

Did 1275 LS get 4 cores from the factory?

I though all minis came with 3 core standard and that 4 core were aftermarket alternatives?? That's just what I had been led to believe anyway..

The 1275LSs had a 4 core as standard. The '78 1275 mokes got them, too :wink:

thanks guys for your help in this matter, I was thinking it was 4 core but couldn't be sure as Im not all that cluey about these types of things more of a electrical man myself rather thwn mechanical.

If you take of the radiator cap (when cold!) and look in the neck,
you can count the number of rows easily :wink:
