Had a accident last night a silver nissan patrol reversed into my driver door and its now comepletly mangled. Thankfully it wasn't my fault and now will have to get it fixed. Does anyone know where a good panel and painter is around my area. I live in Five Dock Sydney. I will post pics soon of the damage. No one was hurt thank god but what a hassell, at least I have lost my licence anyways from the 21st of june for 9 months that'll give me enough time to the little car up and bring it back up to scratch.

Sorry to hear about the bent door , were you driving or was it parked at the time ? Hope the insurance doesn't stuff you around too much and you can find a decent panel shop to look after it . Did it do any other damage to it or just mangle the door ?

If its a mini and its bent and its insured - then take it to Rocky Canto in Smithfield. I dont have the phone number off the top of my head But Rocky has 30 years of mini repairs

Canto Smash repairs.

Thanks for al of your concern and yes it'l give loads of time to save money and progressively turen my LS is the beast that I desire it to be. plenty of time to touch things up replace others nad fix more. I swear you lot get the shock of your lives once it done. grins ... but alas I doubt now wether i can be in mini's down under but I shall certainly give all of you the support of beasts of minis' deseves.

Anyways I will keep you all posted about the dorr being fixed but as to the fial product once i get my licence back you'll have to see it to believe it.

anyways thaks again for ur sup;oprt and concern,

kind regards Zack

Take your time and get it fixed properly.

It started out as a small rust area behind the door hinges, then it got bigger and bigger.
Rust around the back window and rust on the lower side window frames.
After that was all fixed-I could not find a spraypainter that would "blend" the colour in.
So it was a complete strip out(thanks to my brother) and back to a spraypainter to re-paint the LS.
Then put all the glass and interior back in,ready for this weekends Historic Round the Houses weekend. :D
It never stops with a Mini!!

No-Not a dent!!
Gives you the "willys' though-When you tighten and adjust the door hinges,it pulls the shape
of the top hinge onto the door panel...
Bastard of a idea
Just like when you tighten the nuts on the outer door handle-It distorts the panel around the handle.
