For an 1100, with larger valves, ported, polished, mild cam, double valve springs.
Just wondering what I should be looking out for. Want ing power and economy, if possible.

1.75" SU HIF44 or 40mm Dellorto Webber..better economy with the SU..slightly more power with the other and a much better noise IMO

i think a weber is overkill on a smallbore,
but twin hs2's or a single hs6 or hif44 will be able to exceed the performance required.

a single hs4 was inadequate for my modified 1100

I recently had to replace my carbee and I opted with a HIF44 (1.75") SU . Have a lot more power without overkill I totally recommend this, now my bore is much higher than 1100 but it doesn't suck too much juice and does give you more powr at top end. Keep in mind though that going to a bigger carbee means the torque you would have now on the low end won't be there as much just means you might have to be in 2nd when you usually would be in 3rd for some corners. But overall a better choice I think then a dellerto.
